Hima Bindu Lanka is a Cincinnati, USA based artist working on Zentangle, Mandala , Warli and paper crafts. Though mostly self-taught, she has been trained under some highly skilled artists across the world.
​
Since 2017 she has been exhibiting her art works through various group shows. Her works have found homes across India and USA. She participated in Indian art festivals, Cincinnati Art wave and various art challenges. She is member of women’s art club of Cincinnati, Cincinnati art club and Greater Cincinnati calligraphers’ guild.
​
A Certified Zentangle® Teacher, she conducts Zentangle Basic and Advanced workshops, Warli art workshops (Indian folk art) , Mandala art Workshops. She also offers one-to-one classes, online sessions and Corporate sessions through Zoom/Skype/Google meet/Facetime.

When she is not painting, Hima enjoys spending time travelling with her husband and two boys. She enjoys playing outdoor games with her boys and her friends. She also enjoys chats, music, walks, mediation, having friends over and learning about Art and Business.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Art for me, is my form of expression and I believe life is an art form and that each of us is an artist. We just have to find our inspirations from our daily life and nature.
I daily practice Zentangle, Zentangle Inspired, Mandala and digital art. Craft is my childhood passion and I love to create different things.

Currently, I am working on Zentangle art, India Folk art forms, Craft and Digital art. Zentangle art is an ink drawing of structured patterns on small size paper tiles. Mandalas are both ink and acrylic paintings. I love to do acrylics paintings on different size canvas with landscapes and Warli art (Indian folk art ). I spend my spare time on paper craft like garlands and home decorations.
